This drama in the picture happened along the Lagos/Badagry expressway. A driver of a Mercedes Benz car and the driver of an articulated vehicle popularly known as trailer got into an argument along the ever busy express road. The picture shows the driver of the Benz wanting to hit the other driver with a helmet and the driver of the articulated blocking the helmet with his hand. The bone of contention was that the driver of the articulated vehicle actually touched the bumper of the Mercedes Benz as a result of the traffic.  

An improvised jet and its owner

The man standing in front of  an improvised jet in the  picture is Durojaiye Kehinde  Obasanjo. He is a native of Ijaye, Abeokuta in Ogun State. According to Durojaiye, building of moving objects can be dated back to his early childhood. Building the jet he is standing beside took him about six month to build due to paucity of funds.Ordinarily it would have taken three months.Virtually all the materials used in the construction of the jet was sourced locally.  The jet is designed to move on the land, sea and  in the air. Presently it  can only move on land and sea. Funds he said is needed to make  his dream of flying the jet is realized. The jet named 'The Pride of the Federal Republic of Nigeria' can indeed become the pride of the nation if well meaning Nigerians and Corporate bodies can come to the aids of this projects. Inventors like Durojaiye should be encouraged if Nigeria will grow technology wise.

This bird I photographed in the afternoon. I expected that it will fly into the broken roof, but it did not despite it long stay at the edge of the broken roof. Wise decision. The decision you take could make or mar you. Take the right decision.

The situation in the country is a sorry case. Common kerosene is not within the reach of the common  man. At this age of our nation, people still go into the bush to fetch firewood for the purpose of cooking. The government must work hard to ensure that kerosene is not only available, it must be available at affordable price that anybody can purchase. God help this country Nigeria and her leaders.
